Established in 2006, J Pilar has been making wine and winning awards since.  Now a nationally acclaimed winery rooted in the foothills of San Diego, J Pilar will always be humble to its past.  Beginning with planting a vineyard to constructing a winery for the processing of the wine, our wine making has been “in the family” since day one.  The winery’s name is in memory of our winemaker’s wife’s mother Pilar. Although she is no longer with us, her spirit remains every time we enjoy our wines.  We hope you enjoy our juices of the vines.  For our families, it is more than just the process, but a passion.
